We offer an accredited 24-month program in Radiologic Technology. The curriculum consists of radiography class work and clinical experience. Under the supervision of professional radiographers, students perform various radiographic, trauma radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography and tomography. In addition, elective rotations in nuclear medicine, ultrasound, angiography, computerized tomography (CT), cardiac catheterization, MRI and bone densitometry are also offered.
In the event of student pregnancy, she has the option
of whether or not to inform the Program Director of
her pregnancy status. In the absence of a voluntary
written disclosure the student shall continue in the
The first trimester of the program is considered to
be probationary. The school reserves the right to
terminate or suspend any student who, in the
judgment of the Program Director, does not satisfy
the requirements of scholarship, clinical ability,
ethical behavior, health or personal suitability for
the profession of Radiologic Technology.
Students will be made aware of methods and procedures
for protecting themselves, the patient and the general
public from unnecessary exposure to radiation before
being allowed to use the college energized lab or to
be out on the floor at the clinical assignment.
